Ritz Club London

Ritz Casino imageRitz Club London Casino used to capture the essence of playing in the elegant surroundings of a land-based VIP casino. It was owned by the Barclay Brothers who also owned the Ritz Hotel amongst hundreds of other assets.

But on September 28th the Brothers suddenly decided they "no longer wanted to be in internet gambling."

Was it coincidence or pure good fortune that this occurred two days before Internet Gambling was effectively outlawed in America by surprise (at least to most of us) Senate legislation attached to a port security bill?

The Ritz Club London online casino was sold to ukbetting plc between these two events, on 29th September. Who knew what, one asks.

Anyway, within a month, the Ritz casino had closed its doors and transmogrified into the Club on the Park. It all seemed rather a rush in the end.
